In women’s championship, final match was held between university of Sri Jayewardenepura and university of Colombo and university of Sri Jayewardenepura crowned as the champions of SLUG 2019 Women’s Basketball achieving 45 points leaving the university of Colombo which scored 23 points as the 1st runners up. In the consolation final held between university of Moratuwa and university of Peradeniya , university of Moratuwa scored 41 points against university of Peradeniya which scored points 31 points and became the 2nd runners up.

In men’s championship, university of the Moratuwa and the university of Sri Jayewardenepura crashed against each other for the championship and university of Sri Jayewardenepura emerged as the SLUG 2019 Men’s Basketball Champions scoring 63 points defeating university of Moratuwa which scored 47 points. University of Moratuwa became the first runners up and the consolation final was held between university of Peradeniya and Sabaragamuwa University. Sabaragamuwa university scored 53 points and became the 2nd runners up, leaving the 4th place for the University of Peradeniya which scored 42 points.
